Subject: Manic Miner: Allana Truman beta (Rooms 0-16)

 

As well as the addition of Room 16, this revision makes the
following changes:


[36212]: 23 -> 55

Solar beam now starts at (1,23) instead of (0,23). This affects all
solar-power rooms in the game:
+ "Allana's Tinfoil-covered Lair" [8]
+ "Aubrey Sci-Fi Convention" [14]
+ "Solar Power Generator" [18] (which will, of course, be replaced
with a new room in two weeks' time)


[53271]: 64 -> 171

Wall-block at (0,23) in "Allana's Tinfoil-covered Lair" [8].


[59414]: 64 -> 7
[59415]: 64 -> 7

Wall-blocks at (0,22) and (0,23) in "Aubrey Sci-Fi Convention" [14].


In the alpha-version (to which I alone have access), all of Rooms 0-
18 are now finished and documented; Room 19 is very much unfinishe

Other things to do before the gamma-release (16th November):
+ Boot & plinth graphics (Game Over screen)
+ Transfer JSW item-collection sound to MM
+ Look into the memory-trample when jumping off the top/bottom of
the screen, which corrupts Room 7 (Bug-Byte) or 8 (Software Projects)
+ Reedit title-screen picture
+ Easy version of the game.
