Subject: Some comments/questions for various members

Sorry about this, but with the trouble I've had with this heap
recently, plus all of the spam (I'm averaging 250+ spam e-mails per
day) and the e-mails I've lost due to a hard drive crash, I'm not in
the mood to retype my lost posts (though I will quite happily take a
pickaxe to this PC before the night is out.

Anyway, here, assuming this doesn't crash (and I'm copying and
pasting this post to a text file, every line, in case it does) are
the various posts, as far as I can remember, condensed into one post:

Igor: Hello mate, how's things? - I've downloaded your new JSW games,
can't wait to try them! Are you still working on your JSW: Half Life
game? Drop me an e-mail sometime, if you're not too busy.

John Elliot: I've racked my brains, but I give in - what game is an
edited version of JSW2? And what is JSW2:SPSE? Is that it? Where can
I download it from?

Andrew Broad: Hello again, I was wondering if you (or anyone) had
JSW+ for the CPC, as the link on your page is now dead.

Everyone: Can you recommend good 2D platform games (and also good 3D
isometric games (such as Knightlore and Head over Heels) on the
Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64?

Everyone (again): Thanks for all the work you put into JSW/MM remakes
and the interesting posts. This groups is one of the few reasons I
still keep my PC (I *much* prefer consoles, especially now I can
emulate the Speccy on the XBox), and I'm looking forward to playing
all of the new JSW/MM games I'm downloading (Jet Cat Frosya first,
though, as JSW: Frosya is one of my favourite remakes, although ZX
Heroes is better).

Finally, someone posted a question up asking if I would be interested
in working on some JSW editing; sorry mate, at the moment my
computing time is short (and this bloody heap isn't helping...). I
wouldn't be much help anyway, as I know nothing of JSW editing, and I
can't draw on computer for toffee. I apologise for not knowing the
name of whoever asked, but I was reading the post as my PC was
downloading my e-mails, when it died, and I can't find the post again
by using the Yahoo! search box.

I had typed up some stuff about how more than ever I missed the old-
school platform game style (2D, atmospheric graphics, no getting lost
over dozens of empty square-miles of terrain etc), but that's gone
now - no loss, and anyway you've heard (and thought) it all before.

I'm off now to reformat and re-install Windows (spit spit). Wish I
had the time (and the willpower) to learn Linux...

And be glad you were spared my rant about the spyware that seems to
permenantly inhabit this (excuse for a) PC...
