Subject: F.I.T. and other things

My last post was lost due to a crash so I'll keep this one shorter as
I'm now rather annoyed. Firstly thanks for the advice Andrew, I never
had any real probs Poking .sna files but I have had grief with
poking .TAP files in the past. I have on occasion suceeded with much
awkward fiddling but generally end up angry. As for the quick and
dirty method I probably would've used this for the .sna as you say
for quickness. Also regarding the original .TAP file in the F.I.R.3.
folder I just included this for the sake of it as the differences
between the 2 actual game files are subtle to say the least. The
original .TAP file was never intended to be the one everybody played.
I will however have a bash at fixing these when I get the time.

On a totally unrelated note, the crumbling floors in JSW64. Anybody
know how to set these up so they actually crumble instead of just
vanishing? I had this prob whilst trying to edit Manic Miner a long
time ago too so I figured it must be something I'm doing, and not a
prob with the software. I ask this because my current JSW game Maria
on tour has now been converted to 64 format instead of 48k.

I may even make a couple of the days from 7 Days in the Sun JSW 64
format just so I can have nicer graphics and a few more sprites
whilst trying not to lose the 48k feel.

Also I've decided to finish Bizarre off after all after having a
squint at it with JSWED last night I thought to myself maybe it isn't
that bad after all. I'll try and get it out later in the year (which
I think may have been my plan anyway?). However I think my wonderful
title screen idea will have to go. I just can't be bothered to draw a
good one for a game that most if not all the inspiration has gone
from. After I finih this and any other 128k games I'm doing I'm
probably never going to do a 128k version again, I'm too fond of 48k
now and want to start playing with 64 too.

Oh well didn't keep it as short as planned not to worry

Cheers

DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!
