Subject: After the meltdown
Eighty gigabytes of data ended on March 22nd 2005. The survivors of
the hard-disk crash called it Judgment Day. They lived only to face
a new nightmare: a manic search for the data that were saved since
the last CD-backup (2nd March).
Among those destined for the Great Bit-Bucket In The Sky were the
partial offline update of Andrew's List of MM/JSW Games, and his
comments on Sections 1-6 of the JSWED manual. With excessive data-
recovery now eating into Andrew's already tight schedule, these
files do not now expect to see the light of day for weeks and
months, respectively. :-(
Kari's thing-like-a-heart sank at the prospect of Afrikaan's getting
off the ground in time for a 2005 release receding beyond recall...
