If you want to add extra bits to the .TAP file
(such as a loading screen, or system patches) what you
need to do is this:
* Edit JetSet.128, which is
a Spectrum program in +3DOS format. You can use
TAPCAT and TAPSPLIT to go between +3DOS format and .TAP
format. Add lines in JetSet.128 to load your extra
files.
* Then add the extra files (in the correct order)
in MAKETAP.BAT, which is not much more than a list
of files to go into the final .TAP.
