Subject: JSWED - my turn to tell comments about it
1. When choosing among sprites in the guardian window, it shows rows
of sprites, right? I can't see the eighth sprite in every row. I meet
this bug in every version and on all Windows'es. I usually work with
JSWED in 800x600 resolution, because then the JSWED window is rather
big and it is able to see much. BTW it is really bad, that it is able
to work with JSWED only in 800x600 or even 640x480. When turning to
1024x768 it isn't as comfortable to work with it. (I often work with
JSWED on Laptop, so it has 15" monitor) - in all resolutions - the
same problem. WHY???
2. When JSWED crashes. I can name only one place when JSWED likes to
crash. It is when you open the guardian window and click to choose
any sprite for it. At this moment I always press on 1, so to save my
work before this. It is an instinct. I press on 1 every 10 seconds!!
Why, JOHN?
3. I founded the way in JSWED - how to fully clear the entire bitmap
screen, though there is no such function in it. You'll have to create
an empty file and call it "name".scr. Then I upload it to JSWED and
see a blank screen.
4. Placing a diagonal guardian is very jerky.
5. No music editor. I wish I had one.
If I think of any more comments - I'll write them down here later.
IGOR
