3) Really bad is that sprites paper is solid, so, for example empty
sprite will look like a black square in the JSWED but in JSW game it
will be absolutely transparent and will color the background cells

Sorry if I sound dense, but is this a new problem in JSWED or has it
always been like that?

I think he means the lack of transparancy with guardians in JSWED, how
you can't see things behind them etc.
