bytecode-interpreter, so have you installed the Java Development Kit
(JDK)? In other words, what happens when you type "java" or "javac"
at a command-prompt?
If you get "'java' is not recognized as an internal or external
command, operable program or batch file", this means either:
(a) JDK is not installed, or
(b) JDK is installed, but the PATH environment-variable does not
include the directory containing java.exe and javac.exe (e.g.
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_02\bin).

P.S. SPECSAISIE 1.2 is the latest gamma-release, but there's a beta-
revision of SPECSAISIE 1.3 in the Files section (Broadsoft folder).
