You have >my< permission to use these words, although I should point
out that I wrote them for a book to be published in 2006 (see
Message 4929).

I gave them permission to use these words under the following
condition: "The copyright of the article will not restrict me from
using my own words in any way." I therefore presume that it will not
restrict you from using them either.

Also, I do believe it's customary to present multi-paragraph quotes
as follows...

"First paragraph.

"Second paragraph.

"Final paragraph."

...with . before " (unless you added the . yourself in order
to finish the sentence).

I myself often present multi-paragraph quotes as follows, though
it's just my personal style:
>>>
First paragraph.

Second paragraph.

Final paragraph.
<<<

These games aren't my specialist subject, I must admit, but didn't
Manic Miner reference Donkey Kong in "Miner Willy meets the Kong
Beast" and "Return of the Alien Kong Beast"?

Donkey Kong for the Spectrum was released in 1986, but I'm pretty
sure arcade games of that exact genre existed before Manic Miner.
