I shall be interested to see if anyone other than me can get it to
run, bearing in mind the age of the JDK I used to write it

If you add this to the jar file's manifest:

Main-Class: info.seasip.jsw64.Install

... then you should be able to launch the file with a double-click on Windows, Linux, OS X,
etc., without having a separate launch file. Well, I say should...

(It works fine on OS X by the way.)
