Subject: More patter and queries (large, surprise, surprise, eh?)
Hello everyone I'd put a self induced embargo on posting until I'd
finished JSW: TDm SE but I'm posting this now, because things in my
life have taken a turn for the worse. My girlfriend even though she's
coming here has broken 2 ribs in a coughing fit. So if she can stay
here longer than she was going to I'm gonna be looking after her, also
if she stays longer it'll take me beyond the deadline for this game
(I'll also lose a lot of money train tickets hotels in London
lalalala! you lot don't really need to know this LOL). Basically if
TDm SE isn't done by the 17th it could be Feb until I finish it.
However it's looking good for being finished before the 17th. I've
ditched the idea of a nice title screen and actually cut and pasted
the original one from the 48K version into the 3 screen spots. I'll
alter it slightly but nothing too detailed. All the original rooms are
finished well and truly and I've got the new rooms well under way.
Also to John Elliot:
I've sorted my tune chopping problems but I had to sort a lot of files
out. All in all the exported files musn't have been saving properly or
something because I tried exporting tunes the same way I said I did
and I got it working, I must've just needed to restart my computer
(can't remember if I did but I might not have).
Now I know there's probably several posts relating to this but is
there anywhere I can get all the available JSW.TUN files in +3 DOS
format, without having to traul the net for versions of JSW that
actually feature them. Also can tunes from other 128K (or 48K for that
matter) games be used in JSW as long as they fit and or in .TUN
format?
Basically I wouldn't have thought it 100% but in theory it could work
maybe, basically I just fancy sticking one of the tunes from Shinobi
into a JSW as the speccy Shinobi tunes weren't actually that bad. Also
maybe the tune from Space Harrier 2. If I'm living in a fantasy world
feel free to crush my dreams but it seemed like a good idea at the
time LOL.
Cheers
DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!
