Hello Group!

JSW TDm is at a 3rd BETA finished stage. It's actually a complete
game and I'm going to playtest it this morning from start to finish.
The reason I call it at it's 3rd BETA stage is because I'm toying with
adding a few more rooms, nothing amazing just to tie up a few
inconsistencies with the games map. lots of the gaps don't really
matter as the rooms surrounding them fit and the blanks are blocked
off properly. My main concern is putting a few rooms between "Party
finished yesterday LEAVE!" (which is the games Forgotten abbey screen)
and "PHEW! They filled that hole in" (the games Security guard
screen), much in the style of JSW 2. if I decide against adding the
extra rooms (and even if I do for that matter), you could be playing
this later on today or early tomorrow (and this time I mean it
haha!). I would release a club version but since it's pretty much
finished I'll just hold it back til' I'm satisfied with a Gamma
version.

To John Elliot:

I finally tried the mono column skylab patch out, I had to do a little
fiddling myself using the "!" manual overide option but I got there in
the end. Thank you very much I need this effect for a future project,
so you've helped me out a huge amount here.

Now just out of interest is there a patch or even just a byte
you can change to make a regular skylabs columns cycle left instead
of right? I would search around myself but I have a habit of damaging
games when I'm let loose with a hex editor. You should have seen the
state of F.I.R.3 before I gave up on the original, it would've been a
huge success if I was trying to get Willy to jerk all over the screen
whilst randomly drawing corrupt (and lethal) blocks all over, before
finally resetting the spectrum.

To Jet Visy:

The alternative polls is looking interesting to say the least, even if
those screens need more work I see the potential for a very good game.
The mono patch makes the game look very retro too, look forward to it.

Cheers

DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!
