Subject: Some things from Daniel (short :-) )

Thanks a lot to Igor, Philip, dunny291073 and Sendy for replies to
my questions :-) .

1. To Igor

Igor, thanks a lot for including me in "The Mine Vehicle
Department", it's a great honour for me :-) . It is actually a
little embarrassing, because I think you used Willy's sprite
from "JSW: The 2005 Megamix", which is, of course, the sprite from
Darren McCowan's "JSW: Sunday Afternoon Graphical Remix", so there's
no merit of mine in it whatsoever. Still, it's great to be there :-
) .

It is also a little embarrassing taking into account that a nuumber
of outstanding authors, who have really constributed a great deal to
the development of JSW and MM, are not there. But I guess the
criterion was whether someone is still active at this moment, wasn't
it? :-)

2. To dunny291073

So you are "The Father of the Rollback feature in RZX" :-) . Thanks
for your explanations. I am planning to include "nicely-played" RZX
recordings of every gamma-released MM and JSW game on my future
website. It may take years to prepare (depending on how much help I
might get with this from other people), and my comprehensive JSW
website ("Miner Willy Central") is still future, but it's one of my
firm commitments.

3. To Philip

Sorry for misspelling your name before.

I think it is a great shame that your are not editing MM/JSW games
any more :-( . If I understood your "slightly odd grammar"
correctly, it is not likely we will see any of the hundreds of your
unreleased rooms and caverns any time soon. This is a great shame,
again, the more so that you yourself admit that some of them "do
warrant a release", which - this is perhaps just my wishful
interpretation - could be done after just "slightly more work than
editing a text file".

Defining myself as a "JSW lover" in one of the previous messages, I
basically said that I loved JSW (and MM) games for the simple fact
that they exist. In this sense, it breaks my heart to know that
there are so many pieces of unknown JSW worlds in existence hidden
from the interested audience, and what's even worse - that they may
remain hidden for ever :-( .

Still, this is your choice and I suppose that nothing can be done
about it :-( . Although, if you don't play "the new games to
competition" (completion?) unless you are asked to, it means you
do play them if you are asked to. So perhaps you might also do
some "slight" editing if asked to? :-)

4. To Sendy

Thanks for your answer. I understand it that "Role Reversal" will
NOT be gamma-released in the next 80 days, correct? What
about "Manic Person"?

5. A question to John Elliott (unrelated to previous messages)

If one uses the teleporter feature in a JSW48 game, how does JSWED
assign the room which will be sacrificed for it? I mean, WHICH room
will be sacrificed and how will the author know that it has been
sacrificed and cannot be edited?

Sorry if the answer can be found in the manual, the question has
been nagging me recently and I thought that a quicker way of
clearing the doubt will be to ask the question here. Plus that it
might be interesting to other people.

Daniel
