Subject: I'm taking a break as well.....but nothing too drastic
I tried to post a day or so ago, but my computer has no doubt been
invaded so on my night off it's virus and ad-ware removal time again.
Basically following Igors sad and unfortunate post I was spooked,
because a day or so before I read it I was thinking the same thing
for me. But not a permanent or indefinate break just a couple of
weeks, and as I originally typed a few days ago I will still add
little pieces to my outstanding projects. But I have too much work,
money, life related things going on at the min to commit myself to my
games fully. I know this may upset a few people, but don't worry it's
just a brief rest. A break of a few weeks is what helped me
finish "The Down and Out Trilogy" (sorry for mentioning it again, but
it's true). Anyway I will resume editing again fully in a week or so,
my fiancee however is staying with me from May 10th until August 10th
so I don't think I'll get much editing done then. Hopefully if my
visa has come through by then I can back all my speccy related shit
up and take it with me, when I fuck off to the states for a while.
I've been mulling an idea for a new game at work, even though I'm
taking a break. I've made a promise to myself to keep the idea in
type and on paper until I've finished at least one game I'm working
on.
Also to Sendy did you ever release the SE of Strangel? If you did I
don't remember but I've been working loads recently, and when I
haven't been working I've been eating, sleeping, or off my trolley.
Also to Andrew you can scrap everything on your site to do with 10 of
the best if you want, it was a hasty and ill thought out idea. I'll
just bundle final original fixes with any SE's of the knackered
originals, and maybe post fixes of the ones that aren't being SE'd
when I get round to it. If you don't want to scrap it from your site
for chronologocal value you can always say it's been split up and is
currently taking a year off in bed to become a DJ, and several
sections are persuing singer/songwriter careers.
