Subject: Advanced MM/JSW Trainer [v0.0.2]

 

Today I wrote "Water-cells and basic jumping" [2] (JSW64 main game).

I was busy programming over the weekend, with the following results:

* I have extended John Elliott's room-number patch to suppress
leading zeroes and to print my beloved square brackets. I have
applied it to the JSW64, JSW48 and MM48 variants.

* Teleporter-list relocated to 0:#A003 (JSW64 only) to allow up to
255 teleporters.

* "Harmless guardians" POKE applied to JSW64 and JSW48 variants.

* I have written a first implementation of the default room-setup
patch-vector, which undoes any POKEs that may have been applied on
a room-by-room basis (a few rooms in the JSW64 main game will have
harmful guardians, and there will be a cluster of rooms for Willy
to practise toilet-run mechanics - it will be necessary for the
default room-setup vector to revert him to the mode he was in
before entering this cluster).
