That would be the safest way. Even though I would say that the current
top three emulators (for windows) are as close to 100% perfect for 48k
emulation as we're ever going to get, you can never be sure.

None of the Willy games use any special z80 or ULA/z80 combination
tricks, and no I or R register mucking around. They should be good
enough (aside from PC-side keyboard quirks) to test any JSW or MM
game. No use was made of any of the undocumented features, and the z80
coding really is very, very simplistic - characteristic of the time,
or of Mr Smith's abilities, I couldn't say :)

You'd be pretty safe so long as you tested your game as a TZX file
under each machine type.
