Subject: J. G. Harston's patch issues

 

1. Thanks to John and Andrew

Thanks a lot to John Elliott and Andrew Broad for your answers to my
questions. I can see that using the Softricks variant of the game
engine complicates the matters to some extent. Luckily, I have a good
idea of how to solve (really: omit) the problem in what I hope will
become the final version of Steve Worek's "Jet Set Emily".


2. An explanation for those who may be interested

I intend to add several rooms to the game in order to fill in the
gaps in the map - with the exception of the bottom row. Steve has
approved of the idea, but of course I will submit the rooms to him,
whenever they are ready, for his approval, and I will modify or
eliminate them altogether if he so wishes].


3. A question to Jonathan

Would your ever consider releasing a variant of your patch which
would be useful for the Softricks variant of the game engine?
