Fortunately yes things went well for me I'm now an honourary (or
should that be honor) yank, although in the end I had to rely on a
good ol' floppy disk to transport my games as I never got that damn
burner up and running again. I managed to take "The Dark
Quadrology", "The Down and Out Trilogy SE's", "7 Days in the Sun",
and "Super Manic Miner". Unfortunately I'm gonna have to download
all of the other authors games (and my own if I wish to improve
them) again.

Unfortunately my lesser known projects (Thing, Monkey!!!, JSW for
Geordies, and The Mystic Chicken) may never see the light of day as
I had to leave them behind. I guess that means Benders cheez it game
is gone as well. I can retrieve all my stuff in a year or so when
travelling abroad from America won't ruin my visa.

But like I say once I download myself another copy of JSWED, ZX32,
SPIN, and Realspectrum, It's gonna be business as usual. Because I
can't work until I get my greencard so I have plenty of time on my
hands.

Not really as I'm still born and bred in England, but I will
certainly be using my new surroundings as an influence for some
future JSW shenanigans.

It did indeed, my first official screen (ah memories), and I had a
curry on the night in question, could be the last one for a very
long time too. Since curry and asian quisine isn't really a big
thing here in the USA, which is a shame because I'll miss my Indian
grub. Well I'm in the states so at least I can get a cheeseburger at
almost every stop.

Cheers
