It is good to see a new product from you, DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!! :-)

I had a partial look at it last night; "partial" because it was late
and I was too tired to play it to completion and carry out a thorough
analysis. My first impressions are:

- I have not noticed any bugs so far.

- The "photograph" in the opening room is very impressive. I am
curious how you have done it.

- I enjoy various graphics which are very much your style, DM, and
which for me are very non-JSW. I don't mean "non-JSW" as criticism at
all, I mean that I do not associate them with JSW, but rather with
other Spectrum games; they have a different style - and it's actually
nice and refreshing to see them in JSW games. I would find it
difficult to define this impression exactly; I hope people will know
what I mean. I would just say that "Maria on Tour" is a prime example
for me of these new, "non-JSW" graphics.

On the side of constructive criticism, I would say that I do not
particularly enjoy the mixture of those graphics and very traditional
JSW graphics, like classic guardian sprites. I would say: if it's
going to be new, a different style, have it all new, at least in the
space of one room. But this is just a very personal impression.

- It is nice to see some rooms more difficult than rooms in your
games typically are, with some quirky jumps introduced as well. I am
all for it :-) .

- It is nice to see sprites created by DM and used before. When I saw
the moon in "Merlins' Tower" I thought to myself: Yeah, that's a
DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!'s game all right! :-)

- I do not particularly like the arrangement in the room "Love will
tear us apart again!", where the only possible exit from the central
part of the room is upwards and you re-appear at the bottom of the
same room. I think it might be better to eliminate the possibility of
the upwards exit, and to introduce some way to get back to the
bottom, for example with a jump through an ILB (but I wouldn't insist
on it, I know some people are not fond of this).

- I would have some comments on the use of the apostrophe in the room
names, but I will not express them now (or probably ever again
concerning DM's games) because I take the "unconventional" use of it
as a trademark of DM's creations. For anyone interested in the
subject, I recommend the website of "The Apostrophe Protection
Society" (http://www.apostrophe.fsnet.co.uk/) - it seems that some
people are as fond of the apostrophe as we are of JSW :-) .

The DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!! wrote in the text file accompanying the game:

"Thanks to Daniel Gromann for chopping R.D. Foords sprites into an
easier to view file altogether."

Thanks for the credit, DM :-) . I've had a look at these sprites
recently and I concluded that very few of them (if any) are actually
new. Some of the "less standard" ones come from JSW2 and some come
from "Technician Ted".

I have actually been able to extract some additional sprites
from "Technician Ted" in recent days. I might soon post an updated
version of my conversion of R. D. Foord's Sprite Library with the TT
sprites added, for the convenience of you all :-) .

I will also get back to "Holy Shit!!!" after playing it some more.
