[Re. Andrew's comments on reloading and restarting the game due to a
bug in MM when jumping off the top or falling off the bottom of the
screen]

The point above reloading versus restarting the game is very valid,
of course. I never thought about it, because I never restart games -
I usually reload recent snapshots, which "automatically" made me
think of reloading when I wrote my previous post. The only exception
may be special situations, e.g. investigating phenomena such as
the "rope-teleport bug" or problems, such as the bug in the Final
Version of (Steve Worek's) "Jet Set Emily: Baby on the Go", which
made teleportation impossible (and hence, made the game
incompletable) when you let the attract mode run before you started
playing (the bug was kindly fixed by Andrew).

Among my future JSW plans is a re-release of "Jet Set Willy: Mind
Control" and "Willy's Hoard" with loading screens. I do not plan to
change anything in the games themselves, just to add the loading
screens and change the names of "Program" and "Bytes". I am planning
to call each of these new releases a "Deluxe Edition", or "DeLuxe
Edition" - I'm not sure which is better. Just to say that it's the
same thing with a little "luxury" bit at the beginning :-) .
An idea for "Ma jolie", perhaps?

Could this be a good idea for a room name? Something along the lines
of "Condescending Footnotes", of course... "Haunting Comments" - how
does that sound? :-)

Glad to hear that! :-)

I like this sentence a lot. And it's true, too - at least it's the
way things should be, isn't it?

Wow! Are we close to harnessing JSW as a tool in psychotherapy?! Mind
control it would be, indeed. This could get us into trouble, though,
because there's a lot of money involved in psychotherapy, and so the
copyright issues could get back at us... :-)

So be it! ENTER

I missed it too, but others don't seem to have missed it as much,
since Andrew's MM score is currently the only one on the board! :-o
Having said that, I haven't added any scores myself, because I know
that when I have a go at it, I will grow addicted again, and I want
to avoid it so as to be able to devote more time to JSW for the
(emulated) ZX Spectrum.
