Subject: Re: New JSW Game
Roger, congratulations on this fine debut! What a great event for the world of Miner Willy. It's still early in the year, and yet we've already had some interesting developments: Jonathan Cauldwell's "Jet Set Willy 16K", then "Manic Miner Turbo" by Paradigm Shifter (kierengracie) and now Roger's beautiful brand-new game. Wonderful!
Since I know the game very well by now, after the playtesting sessions, I can strongly encourage you all to have a go at it. It's very pleasing aesthetically, it has good sense of humour and the difficulty level is optimal IMO: it's not too easy, but not extremely difficult either - just enjoyable. And it makes good use of the JSW64 game engine.
And the great news is that Roger is keen to continue his creative work, including introducing technical enhancements, such as patch vectors. I look forward to seeing the results, Roger! Keep up the good work!

No, not the first one. I used at least one of your sprites in "Willy's Hoard" and it's quite prominent there, starring in many rooms. It's the vertical "old man", seen for example in "The Quirky Mountain Path" (06) (where it's the only moving guardian). It adds a lot to the atmosphere of the game (IMHO), so thank you for it!
Daniel
