Good to hear from you again Igor mate :)

Was beginning to wonder if you'd well and truly vanished? Funnily enough me and Skarpo were talking JSW a while back now maybe sometime within the last 6 months and he mentioned "his old pal Igor Makovski", then we had a bit of a talk about where you had got to ;)

Last time I heard anything from you was either when you posted one of your 2 Mini-JSW games or the time you were taking a break to work on a Russian Boulder Dash clone?

like most people on here these days reality seems to get in the way of creativity, plus I am taking a longish break from hardcore JSW editing I almost completely burned myself out, my last game I released was supposed to be out in 6 months, and instead it took me 18, I had a quite a few periods during that 18 months where I had plently of spare time but I just couldn't bring myself to do anything, I'd open JSWED time and time again, draw a couple of blocks or a sprite save and close it. Then half an hour later I'd do the same, and then again a little later.

Not to worry though I haven't gave up completely I've had quite a nice rest now :D

I rarely come on here now as I just read everybodies posts as they hit my email inbox. I've only replied about 2 times in the last year to anything, cos' I haven't really been doing anything.

As for my own projects, all the old ones that I STILL haven't released yet have pretty much ground to a halt. I haven't touched The Dark Quadrology in over 2 years now other than to open the existing games up and import things from them into other games. The Down and Out Trilogy SE's haven't been touched in a while either, but probably have been more recently I had renumbered several screens for Skint Willy SE so they were closer together map wise, and closer to being in numerical order, and I've removed a lot of filler screens, IDS drops, and tidied up a lot of those funny horizontal acting vertical guards, the toilet run is no longer obscured by the drunk so you can actually make it to the toilet. I did start converting 7 days in the Sun: Day 1 to JSW 64, I was actually going to import the sprite library over and then redraw the rooms from scratch, cos' let's face it the 48k club release is a little messy looking and the toilet run is buggy as anything.

As for right now well as always I do have something currently JSW related going on. I suppose I can tell you all about it now since I've got quite a bit of things done for it. I'm not saying when or if it'll be out incase I never finish it but it's an experimental Boxset of Willy games made to not really be Willy games. I won't go into too much detail but 2 of the games in the box set are sequels to 2 other existing platformers 1 is in the style of Manic Miner, but with a lot more going on, and the other is in the style of Hunchback, but isn't based on Hunchback. Another is an experimental Willy game utilising a very large feature within the JSW engine as the games main basis, it was originally going to be a CSS:CGC entry, but I took too much time on the graphics and they didn't look shite enough, so I decided to make a full game of it. The last entrant is a game authored with Jonathan Cauldwells Platform Game Designer, but may never make it onto the list. Also with recent developments in JSW with the engines and several patches I may actually try to pick up an old scrapped project, and try to convert Fahrenheit 3000 into a Willy game again, but thats' not a definite either.

The working title for this box set is "The Box of Delights", and realistically it's about 20% finished.

But don't get your hopes up too much, as it may never emerge?
