Hello old pal :)

I'm still working on about 4 unfinished JSW games at the moment slowly but surely. I haven't lost interest as such, but I do long to do some other Speccy related things in the future. As much as I love MM/JSW and JSWED, I'm beginning to think I've seriously overused it. I've been doing this for 10 years now (hard to believe isn't it?).

I thought I had posted up here that I was working on an MM/JSW hybrid type game called "Miner Nightmare", with the amazingly original concept that's never been done before (lol) of Willy being trapped in a nightmare, and having to collect shiny objects as it were to escape. That's really about all the story I thought up for it, no elaborate schemes or indepth readme files with this game, just oddball Miner Willy action at it's finest (or crappest depending on peoples perceptions). The other few games I'm keeping quiet about because one of them is a blindingly original, but super simple idea that I'm really surprised nobody else has thought of.

I was gunning to finally release the Down and Out Trilogy Special Editions on christmas day this year (If the world doesn't end before then :D), to mark the 10 year anniversary of Still Stealin' and the finalisation of the trilogy, but sadly due to the awful obstruction that is reality it's probably not going to happen :(

You may be happy to know if you even remember the games now? That I am still occasionally trying to add to the Dark Quadrology (yup I'm still spelling it "ology" instead of "iligy" lol). The overfiend is still at about 14 screens but I may scrap that game altogether as it seems a bit silly to base the second part of a 4 part series on an anime which already exists? I may have a similar concept, but drop all the references to the anime from the game, including changing the title. I have added a little to YOU-ROBOT! in the last year or so thanks to a few encouraging nudges from Phillip "fil" Bee, however part 3 of the series is still nothing more than a sparse .txt file, and a vanilla JSW templete with a few patch vectors I added to it years ago. I may start from scratch as I no longer remember which patches I added :D

I did start converting the club only release of "7 Days in the Sun: Day 1" to JSW64 v[ from 48k only a few years back, needs tidying but it's pretty much done, and day 2 is hung up at about 8 screens. I may abandon it if the info I had for it is still in England on my old PC? No idea when I'll be going back home again?

JSW Monkey! Super Manic Miner, JetSetVania, Bobs Booze (My Henry's Hoard remake), and The Mystic Chicken, are all pretty much dead in the water now.

I did find in my old Speccy folder that I ported over from my old PC (Just got a new one recently, my old one finally died), a version of Mind Control II: The Second Brain Drain, looks like I was serious about trying to make a game of Sendy's screens at the time, but I've long since forgotten what I was trying to do with it?

So there you go Mr. Gromann there is at least one other JSW nut out there still plodding away (very) slowly but surely :)

Cheers!

DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!
