Subject: Re: How to get to MM/JSW files?
Hi Sendy,
It's great to hear from you again and know you are thinking of finishing your JSW and MM projects! It would be truly FANTASTIC if you did! And it would give much-needed encouragement to Yours Truly and to others who need some stimulation to dive back into the world of Miner Willy.
There once was a time - a few years ago - when you announced that you would release Manic Person and JSW: Role Reversal within hours, and then you withdrew and said you still wanted to improve them a little more. IIRC, the issue was that you wanted to release the games in variants with different degrees of difficulty (at least two, perhaps even three at one point). You wanted custom loaders for them, but you were not able to make the loaders yourself at that time and nobody who might have been able to do it stepped forward to help you. Furthermore, there may have been something about proof-reading the Read Me files. If you search through the Group posts, you will find your own messages pertaining to that situation.
I have no idea what happened to the Yahoo! JSW/MM Group files. It was an unpleasant surprise for me when one day I wanted to access them and found there were none.
I have just sent you all of the JSW and MM-related files of yours I have (downloaded from the Group files when they were still online) to your current e-mail address and to three other e-mails I know you have used in the past (because my first message to Gmail was rejected because of the attachment). Please confirm that you have received them.
If there is anything at all I could do to help out with the releases of MP and RR, I will be happy to help, especially now over the holiday period. I coudn't write the loaders, but I can do a thorough playtesting and proofreading, if you want.
Happy Holiday Season to everyone and - should there be no heated discussions on this forum before the end of the year - Happy New Year!
Daniel
