Hello everyone! :)
I'm still interested in JSW, but I have also had the similar problem of JSWED crashing on Win7. My old PC finally gave up the ghost about 2 years ago, and I haven't been able to work on a JSW since, try as I might I just can't get it working.
I think it has something to do with save paths, I transferred everything from my old PC to my new one so obviously I had to change the save paths as they were set up for a machine that no longer existed. Things were going fine then....erm....they weren't.
Try as I might I can't reconfigure it at all now, if I try it crashes, I've wiped everything off, and tried a fresh install of JSWED, same problem.
Bit of a shit really I was working on a rather odd JSW/MM hybrid a couple of years ago that quite a few people were looking forward to. Had some nods towards modern gaming culture, and indie gaming, times are moving along but my humour stays roughly the same as it did back in 2002 when I first signed up here lol
I fear unless I can get JSWED working again though I may never finish any of the outstanding JSW projects from years ago (...and as bizarre as it may seem I still feel like I have a lot of loose ends to tie up) :(
Oh and Sendy nice to hear from you again, I take it you're messing with AGD now, it's a nice prog, but I'm yet to sit down and really get to grips with it, this is due to the obvious time constraints we all suffer from these days, and that JC keeps updating AGD quite often.
You might find it odd that I still have the file of my attempt at a sequel to JSW: Mind Control. Second Brain Drain I was going to call it I think? But it seems so long ago now I'm not even 100% sure anymore hahaha!
Anyway that's it really.
Nice to see that some of the familiar faces are still lurking around here, and that some of them are re-appearing from time to time, and that we even have a few new ones :)
