Subject: Question about the release date of "Manic Miner - 2000"
One of the exact release dates I am missing is that of "Manic Miner - 2000". The existence of the game on alt.binaries.comp.sinclair was announced in this Group by Stuart Brady in message 31 on 23 January 2000. Obviously, the game must have been released earlier than that, but how much earlier?
I have tried searching for any relevant info (e.g. on https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/comp.sys.sinclair), but to no avail. The search terms "manic miner" and "2000" are pretty generic; the author's supposed name (FELL) does not help, either.
Is the content of alt.binaries.comp.sinclair from 15 years ago available anywhere?
Any ideas?
