Just for the record (because people occasionally refer back to pearls of wisdom such as can be found in posts like these), I would like to point out there is an error/typo in the above: an Upper Invalid Arrow in the bottom half of the playing-area will only draw a TEMPORARY trail across the top half, 8 character-rows above the arrow, rather than a PERMANENT 'Trail of Havoc'.
Although, as Andrew correctly identifies, a Lower Invalid Arrow in the bottom half of the playing-area DOES cause a permanent 'Trail of Havoc' across the top half.
