... unless you first get Willy into a position where he is straddling cell-columns 31 and 0 (e.g. by falling off a rope that wraps around the vertical edge of the screen)!
That isn't possible in original JSW, but it can be achieved by using a single POKE to shift the top segment of the Rope in the Swimming Pool a few cell-columns to the right. (You have to get the timing right as to when Willy dismounts the Rope. And you also have to be mindful not to climb the Rope all the way up to the Orangery, or else Willy may get stuck, oscillating up and down between the two rooms in perpetuity!)
