Subject: Re: Completing "Maria vs. Some Bastards"
>> By the way Danny, did you ever manage to find a way to reach the two remaining items that you had seen in the game, but which you hadn't found a way to collect, the last time you reported on this matter? i.e. the leftmost items in 'The old house' (17) and 'Stinking sewer' (27).No, I haven't tried to complete 'Maria vs. Some Bastards' since reporting on the matter the last time.
Now that you are apparently having a look at its code, I feel that this persistent mystery may be solved soon
I've never tried to analyse the code, actually. Nonetheless, I think that saying that 'Maria vs Some Bastards is a Softricks game' is an understatement - the Softricks game engine must have served as a starting point for it, but I believe (without ever analysing the code, just by seeing the in-game effects and knowing that an additional tool called 'Hackulator' was used to create the game) that it was later modified to a very significant degree.
