Subject: 10 years without Andrew Broad's list of MM/JSW games
Ten years ago, to the day, Dr. Andrew Broad's list of MM and JSW games was updated for the last time. That version of the list is still available online today, on an archival version of Andrew's Geocities website, and continues to provide important information to those interested in the subject. When one looks at the richness of information contained therein, one cannot help but wonder what a pity it is the list hasn't been updated this last decade.
I am striving to carry the torch and maintain an updated list of MM and JSW games on JSW Central. Please support this effort by letting me know about any games that are missing from it, any errors you find there and any suggestions for improvement you might have!
The list on JSW Central draws heavily on Dr. Broad's work, and this should always be recognised and credited properly. It does not aspire to provide all the info Andrew used to provide, such as a mention of every single project, and every single piece of work in progress or even a mere intention people have had in the area of creating MM and JSW games for the Spectrum. Instead, it focuses mostly on finished, gamma-released products (with some exceptions, like the Chronology, where info about beta releases is also included).
It can only be hoped that Andrew will return to active MM and JSW editing in the future and enrich us all with new, exciting and beautifully designed games :).
