Subject: Re: Willy's Afterlife? Or Game Over?
Aside from still receiving the messages, on the Yahoo website (which I can still access by clicking on the 'VISIT YOUR GROUP' at the bottom of the emails) I can currently view the start of each post in the front page of the site - where there are a series of entries listed with the Topic Heading in bold, the first 25 words or so of the post [it's probably the first 200 characters or something], the name of the person who posted it, the date of the post, and the post number (#7259 being the top of the list as I type this - hopefully this post #7260 will replace it at the top once I send it].
I can also see the 'Message History' section by scrolling down on the front page, where the number of previous messages posted in each month of every year is displayed. And selecting a month allows me to see a similar 'index page' of all the posts from that month, with the topic and first few words, etc.
But when I click on an individual post in order to read it in full, I just get a blank page, with an error message at the bottom: "Sorry, an error occurred while loading the content."
I get a similar message when I try to click the 'Reply via web post' button at the bottom of an existing email that was generated by the Yahoo Group.
In terms of the other options at the bottom of the emails, clicking 'Start a New Topic' gives a blank page with a different message: "Oops! You're not authorized". Clicking 'Messages in this topic (n)', where n is the number of previous messages in the topic, I get a blank page with no error message at the bottom, but the message at the top about the 14th December switch-off.
The 'Reply to sender' option appears to generate a direct message to the previous poster's email address, bypassing the Yahoo Group altogether. The last option at the bottom of the email is 'Reply to group', and I have clicked that in order to generate this post, which I am hoping will be sent out to all as an email, as well as being viewable in part in the 'index page' for the Group (though you won't be able to read the full thing if you click on the entry in the list of most recent posts).
