well, it seems to have worked. am i right in assuming
you have the whole of jsw2, as well as the manic
miner screens, all crammed into one
game?

s'pose but I wasn't really bothered about that because
there aren't really any in JSW2"

yeah, but i
suppose i've made enough of these kinds of screens in
jsw128 so it will be quite interesting to work to new
limitations.

as for alternative room compression, the only one i
can think of involves measuring the repetition of a
block, reading across the screen as per text. so you
have the block type, followed by the amount of times
it's repeated.
