When the Z80 v3 format was new,
there was a program doing the rounds which converted
Z80 v3 snapshots to version 2. Of course, I've just
tried to find it now, and failed. Possibly you could
pull something together out of z80tomf3 and m3conv3
(see ftp.nvg.ntnu.no:/pub/sinclair/utils/generic).
