Subject: The pain of creation - New Idea !
I've decided to expand on an idea I had a while
back. The idea was to make a JSW/MM game, or series of
games based on some of my favourite Stephen King books.
Thanks to Andrew (Broad) for inspiring me without
knowing it via LOTR.
Having just finished 'Bag of
Bones' (brilliant, by the way - right up there with
'Insomnia'), I've had a few ideas. I haven't yet decided
whether to make a series, or have several parts (books)
in one game. I should imagine that the latter would
be more likely, or I'll be here forever!
I
think it will work because all King's books are set in
or around the same place (Maine, USA - where he
himself lives), and therefore locations would match. Each
book also tends to have distinct 'areas' of
play.
I'll be basing it initially on:
'Pet
Semetary'
'The Dark Half'
'Needful
Things'
'Tommyknockers'
'Insomnia'
'Bag of Bones'
What do you lot think ? Does
anyone actually have any idea/interest of what I'm
rambling on about?
