Subject: Re: A 3D JSW/MM rewrite
"One possible solution is to have a 2D world in a
(seemingly) 3D setting, as in a couple of games whose titles
I *cannot* remember now (I never played them),
where even though they looked 3D you were actually in
2D, as you could not deviate into the Z axis (the
games were both on the PC and Playstation, I think you
were a prince or something and had to go into a
castle, they were platform games and I'm sure one was a
sequel to the other. Sorry to be so
vague...)"
Pandemonium and Pandemonium 2 were like that. The only two
games on the Playstation that held my attention long
enough to reach the end
"I *wish* Matthew Smith
would give it a go. Who better?"
I actually
thought of emailing him to ask his stance on the subject.
But then again I don't feel right disturbing the
master like that. What do you lot think? Should one of
us contact him and get his perspective?
