Subject: Regarding the JSW rewrites - part 2

[Had to post this in two parts, as I had no idea
that the post were so limited in
length]

Incidentally, a while back I began a rewrite myself, which
would
have allowed the player to see most screens without
having to
collect all of the objects. It was to have
been called "Willy Who",
and was basically Doctor
Who themed, with the story that the Master
had
shattered the Key to Time across the universe and the
Doctor, in
all eight of his incarnations, had to
collect the fragments of the
Key to Time and return to
his Tardis. The first seven Doctors would
be set
in a world or theme appropriate to that Doctor and
when all
seven Doctors had the parts then the eight
Doctor would return to
Galifrey with the Key to Time
(bit of artistic license, this bit...).

Anyway,
aside from my total inability to draw on a computer I
was
put off as when I'd done the first (test) screen and
I did the second
screen I discovered that by
altering a horizontal guardian on the
first screen I
also altered the horionztal guardian on screen
two
and vice-versa. Is there a guide anywhere to editing
JSW? I was using
John Elliot's great Win9x
editor.

Cheers,

ewgf.

P.S. Seventeen years on and we're still playing JSW. To me and
a
lot of people Half-life is the best PC game ever, yet
will
we still be playing it in 2015? I think not ;o)
