ok, the bugs i could find:
- after starting a game while the title screen was in it's flashing
frenzy, the collission during the game wasn't aligned and everything
went a bit goofy.
- pressing 'jump' on a conveyor should jump willy in the direction of
the conveyor. once you're moving on a conveyor, it should be
impossible to jump straight up
- in the west of the kitchens, if you jump into the top of the ramp
you can walk a little way into the solid blocks. this is no big deal
though, it hardly distracts from the gameplay.
- in 'on the roof', the nasty block inside the ramp which is used for
aesthetic purposes can kill you as you walk up or down the ramp (esp.
the little ramp on the right of the screen). if you ask me, matt
would have made these solid blocks had the room format not been so
limited (i mean, since when has walking into a wall killed you?), so
maybe you should just make those blocks solid instead of deadly and
solve two problems? :)
- the crumbling platforms need 1 more frame of crumbling before they
vanish. also, could you throw in some more crumbling graphics, like
all the crumbling platforms from manic miner? that would be quite
nostalgic.
- this whole 'continue game' thing - can you turn it off? it does
kinda take the challenge out of everything and also it makes
playtesting your levels hard because when you place willy into an
area so you can test it, he won't appear there. i tried turning this
off in the options screen but it wouldn't work.
- some rooms which must be jumped into have a problem. for example,
docking bay. if you jump into it from the top left (on those high
platforms), and then die on the screen later, you will restart on the
screen without jumping, and hence fall to your death.
that was all i could find, i hope that helps you perfect it :)
