..ok, now i'll ramble a bit... if you DO add the crumblers from manic
miner (the graphics for them), you'd also need to add their non-
crumbling counerparts, so you have two versions of the same platform,
crumbling and non crumbling. otherwise, there won't be enough of a
graphical 'cue' to hint to the player that the platform will crumble.
(did i explain that well enough?)
also, if you like, i'd love to add some screens. just easy ones. i've
always wanted to add to the original JSW2... and they could use the
crumbling blocks so they aren't 'wasted' in the actual game.
another thing, when willy is on a conveyor, it would look cool if he
didn't walk as he moved (unless he's walking against it). i don't
know how easy that is.
finally, if you want other ideas for blocks, how about adding ice
blocks. basically, it's impossible to turn around on them, you keep
moving forwards. also, platforms which appear and disappear cyclicly
would be cool (you could have 2 types - while one appears the other
one disappears, etc..)
aaanyway, sorry for the bombardment. it's looking better than ever
now, i like the tripswitch idea!
