Hello mate,
Speaking of new/upcoming games, I've been toying with an odd thought recently. I was basically thinking of taking the C16 version of JSW
and converting it to Spectrum, expanded with the extra rooms from the Dragon 32 version (if I can find the game roms anywhere - they eluded me all last night and all the Dragon games sites seem to be dead.
Anyone got them to hand?)
I might have them; I had all of the JSW and MM games from the Manic
Miner Technologies, but my hard disc died not too long ago and I lost
a load of stuff. However, I did previously back up a lot (but not
enough...) of my stuff onto CD ROM, so I may still have them. I'll
sort through my discs and see.
and maybe rooms from JSW 2 on the C16.
There's no real reason to it except for the pleasure of reclaiming
those obscure versions of the game for a wider audience on the
Speccy, and even more so just for the hell of it. If I do get round
to it, would anyone care enough for me to put it up on the club?
