I guess I did use a lot of ladders, it didn't bother me though not
being able to go downwards; I like the onewayness of them. If I ever
get round to Platform 2 it should have quite a few new features.

Yes, they are the best, seem a bit slow nowadays. Maybe you could hack
going down ladders into the code (y+1 when on ladder). I also nominate
Chuckie Egg2 (spec) and Top Hat Willy (amiga).
