had a clue how to do it, but I'm a limited programmer and Flash is
all I know!

I recommend downloading my Jet Set Willy Construction Kit and playing
around with that. It doesn't involve any programming as such, unless
you want to modify the game-engine or code up special effects (I've
just hacked the MM game-engine to make the in-game tune play at half-
speed, as needed for the spooky sci-fi music in my Allana Truman
game).

If it's any consolation, I don't know how to program in Flash! ;-)

If it's Flash, could we please have a faster Willy and better
jumping than in New Adventures In Sci-Fi? ;-)

I will try to make the jumping better (I know it was kinda dodgy)
and I presume the making a faster Willy comment was a joke?!?

Well, Willy's walking speed isn't too bad, but the jumping-speed and
also the falling speed are too slow. Also the lifts in "Cunning
Stunt". NAISF is a very impressive piece of programming, but
unfortunately is let down by the overall slow gameplay. Today I got
14 items before I committed suicide! ;-)

cf. Dan Richardson's JSW game Demons, which is currently beta-
released (see Files section) but not yet gamma-released.

I'll check it out and if it's done, well there goes that idea! Ah
well, maybe there's room for two mental Willies.

Just because a theme has already been used doesn't mean it cannot be
reused, although there are a few too many games set in space now
(which won't put me off writing a Star Wars JSW128 game one day! ;-
) ).
