A Quirkafleeg is the act of lying on your back, in the presence of
dead furry animals, waving your feet in the air and
shouting "Quirkafleeg! Quirkafleeg!". It inspired not only Matthew
Smith, but also Radiohead's "Just" video, where a man is lying on a pavement and incites others to do the same by telling them (for those who can lip-read) "We must perform a Quirkafleeg"!
Damn, I always wondered what that guy said, or indeed if he said
anything. Thanks Andrew, can't wait to share that knowledge with
everyone in the pub!
