I am now 34, thats 21 years ago and I have C64 emulator so I can play
both Manic Miner and JSW 1 and 2 in their original format. Whats
does that tell you? If a game can keep you occupied for 21 years
where you will go and play it regardless of all the fancy PC games
you may own, then Matthew Smith is still the most famous and talented
programmer ever. I do not know of any other game(s) which can keep
you interested after 21 years, it will never happen!! Matthew Smith
is GOD.

I also started to play manic miner at the very same age.. and I
remember I also bought the original before I bought the spectrum.
I was so into that game so I brought MM over to a friends house and
play it there.. the funny thing was that directly after I woke up in
the mornings I ran up to his parents house.. ranged the doorbell
(they must hate that bell for ages) EARLY in the mornings.. so one
day they said to me that I must call before I arrive.. haha.. so
that's a proof that Manic Miner was a game that made you insane ;)

.. and yeah.. Matthew Smith is GOD!
