The original Manic Miner has Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain-
King" as the in-game tune (Manic Miner 4 Special Edition has a more
faithful version of this tune).

The original Jet Set Willy has "If I Were a Rich Man" as the in-game
tune, but Matthew Smith was obliged to change it to "In the Hall of
the Mountain-King" for copyright reasons.

Mine for the C64 was accompanied by Bach - something that
contributed massively to the wonderful Gothic atmosphere of the
game.

Gothic, eh? You should play Adban De Corcy's games! :-) I plan to
use Evanescence's "My Immortal" as a JSW title-screen tune one day.

What's the definitive soundtrack to JSW?

Title-screen tune: Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata
In-game tune: "If I Were a Rich Man"
