Beethoven's MS that played at the title screen on the C64 version.
Seemed to me to go perfectly with the haunting nightmare-like
objects Willy comes up against.
But I've now no idea what the in-play tune was. Certainly nothing
mentioned so far. Maybe it was Bach after all, maybe Beethoven.
Very catchy at least. Someone somewhere must have done a
musicological analysis of the different versions of JSW and MM,
surely?
Managed to finish JSW this morning (with the help of nothing more
than, er, unlimited lives and game saves), pleasantly closing an
adolescent chapter of my existence with minimal disturbance to my
present work and social life. Hooray!
