Subject: Re: JavaScript Jet Set Willy
Just had another play about with it and a few things occured to me..
- The steps weren't working before but they do now, have you just
coded them in or something? :)
- When jumping into a solid block (a wall) facing left, he seems to
exit his jump slightly too early and falls about 4 pixels.
When I enter a new room, it draws the solid blocks line by line
followed by the platforms and then the steps and death blocks and
takes a couple of seconds. Oh, and Willy seems to be too close to
the steps when he's walking up and down them..
err, that's it :)
Apart from those it plays fine.
My PC is a 2.3ghz intel celeron, 512mb, with windows XP just in case
you were wondering.
I can see this being a very faithfull conversion.
Dan
