It gets trickier.

The code I was using lines
Willy up on an even pixel, but only *after* he has
fallen 8 pixels.
So he has to be more than 8 pixels
above the surface for it to work.
Then I found that
if Willy is 2 or 6 pixels above a surface, he falls
through. We've got to have a multiple of 4, not a multiple
of 2.

More research is needed. Please delete
any copies of the "HL8" you have, because future
editors will not support them.
