I'm not actually in the university, I'm trying to get in!
(Well, the school isn't actually even an University, it's a "third
level of education" school. Finnish "yliopisto" that translates to
university is the fourth level.

I know, I know. It's strange to foreigners :)

And about the army:

Education doesn't mean anything to the army in Finland. You see,
Finland is a country that has gone through many wars in the past
decades, and it's really MANDATORY for every man to go to army. If
you do not, you have to go to "civil service" that lasts about 13
months(and i'll get away with 8 month in the army). If you do not go
to civil service, you go to jail. You really do, this is no joke.
Those Amnesty guys don't like this aspect of Finland really much.

Well, first they mail you when you are 18, but you can apply to go
there in a few years or so. I know cases of people that went to army
when they were 26.
