started working there in 2002 I was quite worried that my JavaScript
version of MM would cause a problem, so I asked Shaun Darlington, the
MD, about this and his reply was simply not to worry about it.
Fast-forward to the end of 2003 when I left there, and I thought for
sure it would have to be removed from my website, but now the reply
was along the lines of they have no interest in pursuing remakes of
the originals. Skip now to a conversation I had recently with someone
who was involved, but not directly, with the licensing of MM & JSW -
they are pretty sure the rights owner to all Software Projects
property is Tommy Barton, one of the founders and directors, and
Jester only have a license to produce Willy new titles/remakes, with
no rights over the previous releases.
