I'm more than 300% busy with tennis at the moment, so I'll just
write a quick note about editing the solar power.

I notice in the new version of "Paranoia" you've changed the
background PAPER to green in order to detect the solar beam's
collision with Willy. But it doesn't have to be that way.

The byte at 36228 is the colour-attribute which triggers four chunks
of air to be lost upon collision. In all MM games except Allana
Truman, this is 39 (white ink on green paper).

The colour-attribute of the beam is held at 36262. In all MM games
except Allana Truman, this is 119 (white ink on yellow paper, BRIGHT
1).

The start-column of the beam is held at 36212. In all MM games
except reniM cinaM (in the Party Willy box-set), this is 23. I'll
explain in a future message how to deflect the beam to the right
instead of to the left.

Manic Person has some impressive-looking new rooms from what I've
just seen with five minutes of 6031769 mode (POKE 33885,7).

I haven't touched Manic Miner: Allana Truman for four weeks, and
there's no chance it's going to be finished by 29th June - the start
of 20 weekly instalments of release.

So I've decided instead to release 20 weekly instalments of BETA-
VERSIONS, starting on 29th June, and then gamma-release the whole
game on 16th November.

The beta-status means that each instalment may change more than just
the room it adds, although the first eleven rooms are pretty much
stable now. But I have yet to edit the title-screen/Room-19 picture
or the title-screen tune (yes, I do know how to edit that now, as I
will explain in a future message).
